ON-THE-JOB: REPAIRING A WATER LEAK

Our staff at Coastal Carolina Leak Locators use state-of-the-art tools and materials to repair any leaking problems located during an official leak detection visit. No matter what your issue may be, if there is a leak, “We Find It and Fix It.”

Step 1:

Reiterate the pressure test process at the beginning of the repair.

Step 2:

Expose the area directly above where the leak was located. (Concrete may have to be cut).

Step 3:

Dig and expose the fractured pipe.

Step 4:

Remove and install new compatible parts.

Step 5:

Reiterate the pressure test process to make sure that the repaired line holes pressure at 30 PSI 100%. If another break is discovered past the initial issue, we always pinpoint and repair the second issue at an additional cost.

Step 6:

Back fill and clean the area of debris.

Step 7:

Drill in rebar and pour newly mixed concrete (If concrete was needed to be removed).

Step 8:

All systems that were repaired on will be turned back on and checked to make sure that everything is fully functional.
